Everything exactly as they said!

Was given a pay breakdown when I joined which was really helpful. Take home pay was exactly as they said. Staff are friendly. Sometimes there is a breakdown in communication from the agency with timesheets, but that is not Nasas fault, they can only pay out what they have. Payslips easy to understand and comms where good through my contract.

Other than using mafia tactic seem okay

Honestly choose them from a list Preferred supplier list mainly due to the cool name. The first few months noticed that payments were less than expected but kept quiet about due to me getting a big pay rise. When I wanted to get my pension contribution sent to my SIPP they initially told me it was possible but later they told me it was only with a select few that they are able to sent too. Had my extension 6 month later shortly after the NI rate was reduced. I get a new contract which i was requested to sign. Noticed by contract rate was not the same. I pushed back, as I said this is the incorrect correct amount. It was then i re I was then told i need to sign it otherwise i wont get paid (mafia tactics). I pushed back to the recruiter as well and she said they will get it resolved. This took a month a half to resolve and NASA withheld my 6 weekly payments until then and still pressuring me to sign this pathetic contract. Other than these two incidents with them i have to be honest and say the service was good and payments have never been late even though they are weekly but if you have issues with them it can be frustrating to deal with them as they don't seem to care.

Totally incompetent Company

Working through NASA for the past year has been terrible, expenses not being paid at leased every couple of months (mobile worker), forever chasing them why I haven't been paid. Communication none existant.

Poor Poor Poor

With limited options, NASA seemed the best of a bad bunch as they made it onto a preferred supplier list. Their communication is awful, reconciling an issue with a pay slip is difficult to say the least, they hardly answer the phone, I am sick to the back teeth of NASA and their conning ways to keep money due to me in their accounts for as long as possible! Avoid if you can

Con company

Unfortunately, they lied to me from day one in order to get me to sign with them. Once I had signed they negated on what we had agreed to, which costed me hundreds of pounds in taxes. Keep well away from them.

Weekly payroll was messy and hard to reconcile later, dissappointing engagement

I would not recommend a weekly set up like with NASA. Salary sacrifice set up was chaotic and gave little choice of pension schemes. Never felt valued by them, just ignored as soon as I signed up.

All was fine with NASA Group for me

The numbers seemed to match when I compared my payslip to online calculators (re employers NI etc). Helpful in allowing me to pay what I wanted into my SIPP. Friendly emails from accounts dept. Paid me promptly. Their fee was OK. (I was with them for 14 months in 2020 to 2021) No problems at all.

I’ve been with Nasa since March 2021. Paid regularly and on time. Responsive to questions and to queries about changing rates. All pretty fair and above board. Also dealt professionally with paying into my pension.

Seem OK so far, been paid on time each month and get texts when important messages such as contract to sign and payment being made (which is nice). Responsive to emails and on phone, got slight discount with agency which helped reduce weekly cost slightly. Was recommended by several contractor friends, would use again but hoping not to work on another inside IR35 contract in future!

They make a big deal of offering incentives for referrals, then offer a paltry financial incentive, then renege on their original offer. I challenged them on this and they eventually agreed to honour a small sum but the whole process was very unprofessional. Unfortunately you have to deal with accounts people who only offer stock responses and don't deviate from the pre-supplied flowchart/script. They're cheap, and for good reason. Avoid where possible.

Naturally there was some small delay in payments, but mostly down to hmrc being ambiguous with who could and could not claim payments in the first instance. Very happy i was able to get anything at all and appreciate nasa taking the time to handle this. comms were all very helpful .

Is it "employment discrimination" by the Umbrella company NOT to agree in Furloughing an Umbrella worker? Even if they meet all the criteria and are on the PAYE payroll for 2019/20. Is there a complaints process to HMRC for the refusal of Umbrella companies to Furlough employees and apply for the job retention scheme? Urgent action and help is needed here, as it is a complete disgrace. Please show all this evidence to HMRC and Martin Lewis.

I've been told I am not eligible for the scheme as a Limb worker, and with no active assignment on the 28th February. I have always used this Umbrella company because of IR35 legislation, but I am now not eligible for JRS or the self-employment income support scheme. HMRC appears not to recognise the self employment status of "Umbrella workers".
