Do not pay staff

Been working for these guys a few months and everything was fine until I told them I was going to find another job now they trying to withhold payment. Best to avoid this company at all costs

Under pay, rude staff.

Avoid lime its covid! They under pay you, when you ask for an explanation they use criptic coded language to avoid actually telling you why thy under paid you. Refuse to pay me my missing money. Rude phone staff that would rather you just quit and hang up before actual trying to help. I have worked for many agency and umbrella companies before, this is by far the worst one. So so rude.

I'm very impressed with clipper contracting. They answer the phone promptly, whenever I've had a query and usually give me an answer immediately but if not they usually get back to me. They always pay on time and once they had their own queries answered regarding JRS, they have paid me on time each week without any problems. I did chase them a couple of times to begin with but that was because they needed more information from the government. Their website was kept up-to-date with the answers they were waiting for. I only had an issue with not being sent the form for me to fill in to find out if I was eligible for JRS, so I did chase that up but I think it was a mistake from the furlough team regarding my email address. Possibly a miss-spelling.

I have been issued a figure that's is far less than I was earning New year I've been working for aspects building services and have had very little holiday except the the odd day towards the beginning of furloughen because of shortage of supplies. I'm generally doing 45 hour *£22 an hour £990 gross. But I'm coming out with about£380 after tax. Why is this so much lower than the 80% we are supposed to be getting. Regards Steve

It was confirmed by email that I was entitled to JRS and duly signed a furlough contract with Clipper. I was given a date when furlough payment would arrive, the payment did not materialise. I was then given another confirmation email detailing when to expect furlough payment. I was then told by phone call I would not receive furlough as Clipper had informed HMRC a day after government closing date on 19/3/20. I had originally signed an employment contract in February 2020 and started a 20 week contract on 9/3/20. Due to covid19 the construction site where I was working was shut down, the client emailed to say they would be re-employing me when the site re-opens. I am very unhappy about the whole situation I find myself in and have taken legal advice about this matter as I am without income for the foreseeable future. I feel I have been very unfairly treated.
