Clarity Umbrella

Had to take a short Inside contract due to poor market. For any one who used to operate via Limited it appears extremely complicated for no good reason. Lucy at Clarity was very helpful explaining every little detail. There was a lot of flexibility around contract clauses as well as money distribution between pension and salary, with Clarity going extra mile with looking into personal circumstances. A lot of personal touch unlike faceless large umbrellas. Also, Clarity is very active in Contractor UK board, which is helpful when you deciding which Umbrella to choose.

I was with Clarity for 14 months and during that time had no problems with them at all. Quite the contrary in fact as I had to remind them that I wasn't paying them enough to respond to a query at 9:30 on a Friday night. I would still be with them now if not for the agency cutting down the numbers of umbrella companies they use. This is a small business that deserves to be included in all agencies 'accepted umbrella's list'.

Through sheer luck i choose clarity when the agency was trying to push another umbrella company that had just had a data breach . Clarity have been superb. Everything is clear and above board, nothing is too much trouble to explain. I would highly recommend.

I used Clarity for a 6 month engagement. They are excellent in every way. What you get with Clarity is Lucy Smith, a prominent and respected figure on the subject of umbrella company behaviour, and her small team dedicated to making the process transparent and straightforward. Communication is easy, immediate and personal. Onboarding and ongoing support is fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble. I will insist on using Clarity in any future umbrella contract or simply walk away, that is how much this small gem stands out in the murky world of umbrella companies.

I chose Clarity Umbrella Ltd when I won a contract in September 2020 that ran till the end of September 2021. During that time, all queries were answered promptly, invoices were raised as soon as I submitted my timesheet and every payment was made on time. When I subsequently won a contract with a different client at the beginning of October, I insisted on being able to continue with Clarity Umbrella. For as long as I have to use an umbrella and I have a choice, I will use Clarity Umbrella.
