Heard today they are allowing PSC to continue for another year.
Unfair IR35 assessment
Blanket decision on no PSC. Individual assessment can be requested, results still pending after 2 weeks. Likely result is inside IR35 and a choice of PAYE/Umbrella. CEST used by HR to determine status. IT programmes at risk, some.contractors declared not to continue work inside IR35. The atmosphere is uncertainty.
IR35 fairly assessed
Division: Kleinwort Hambros
Role based assessments being performed by all. One on one interviews offered. Results of assessments to be communicated in January. Financial impact based on use of Umbrellas and going PAYE have also been provided.
