Unfair IR35 assessment
Division: ATM
Despite being advised before the contarct that MatchTech would do "everything they could do" to provide an outside IR35 SDS when the time came, in relaity contractors were faced with NATS HR team (who I feel don't understand IR35) and MatcTech who were happy to help push any of their contarctors inside - so that they could retain their cosy relationship with the Client. Sadly, after 9 months supporting an important project I choose to walk away. Felt very 'blanket ban-ish'.

Unfair IR35 assessment
Division: A project
Poor communication. Toxic atmosphere of mistrust. Lip service to individual assessments with a party line of blanket psc bans. Many key contractors already left with more actively looking for other clients. No formal SDS.

Unfair IR35 assessment
Division: SOM
No individual assessment. Took a 6 month contract that was correctly checked and assessed as outside of IR35, now told that the role has been assessed and is inside.

Outside IR35 banned
Poor comms and lack of clear data from the Agent, told all was being done to clearly assess IR35, poorly assessed by anti-contractor managers. Assured that rates won’t change but assignment rate post April will be down 15% to cover Employers NIC, App levy, pension....savvy contractors are noticing, not all. Total disregard to discuss and split costs if needed. Will lose a lot of contractors.

Outside IR35 banned
Division: IT
Blanket ban here. Bona fide limited company contractors no longer welcome. As a true contactor I will be leaving.

Outside IR35 banned
OrangeGenie were involved in individual assessments, but NATS management decided on a blanket ban of PSCs. Contractors are leaving, atmosphere is downbeat

Outside IR35 banned
Division: NATS
I was told by an Agent looking to Recruit for NATS that they will do everything in their power to ensure working conditions allow an Outside IR35 decision to be made - otherwise in his words - "They wont have a business". Wonder what happened.

Outside IR35 banned
A blanket ban on PSCs has been announced Flat out told that rates are not up for discussion, so employers NI and levy will be deducted from the exiting rate PAYE via the agency only Many contractors looking to leave
