Blanket ban on PSCs, all existing PSCs must choose between Umbrella, FTC, or leave by end of March. The mindset appears to be that due to pandemic everyone should be thankful of having a job which is a catastrophic error of judgement considering the specialist skills they require to meet their commitments and the other outside IR35 roles that are starting to appear that inevitably people will leave for (and has already started). One specific project is composed mostly of contractors who found out about the ban via a generic IR35 email, then asked to do ‘whatever it takes’ to get the project over the line because of market commitments, and then that no rate enhancements would be considered. A lose/lose strategy for everyone involved. I am feeling optimistic that I will find an alternative contract very soon with a company who manages to figure out how easy it is to comply with IR35 and keep contractors outside.

Technology offered outside roles after gov delay, but change roles stay as FFC/perm. People leaving in droves and remainder are annoyed/demotivated/looking elsewhere.

No PSCs whatsoever, forcing a specific umbrella for those lucky enough to be offered inside.
