Blanket approach and absolutely no assessment of the individual roles. Completely unfair

Pulled up the Criminal Finance Act 2017 as a reason not to reverse their decision. Won’t listen to any arguments blaming COVID as a reason. Absolute shambles. Forced into accepting due to the current economic situation.

The are standing by their unfair assessment (which was basically a blanket ban) and refuse to consider PSC again. Will be leaving.

Allianz HR emailed all contractors this morning accusing us of tax EVASION!!! They have since backtracked and issued an apology saying it was due to short timescales!!! I’ve worked for a lot of companies as a permie and been engaged as a contractor for several more and never been treated like this. I’d already decided to leave but any contractor thinking of staying needs to consider carefully the implications of an accusation of criminal behaviour (despite the backtrack shows what sort of idiots they have in their HR). Still no SDS!!

Absolute idiots. Have decided they will not reverse any of the inside / FTC arrangements. Government trying to help business yet Allianz continues on regardless - unlikely they will keep any contractors after this.

No U-Turn, STILL NO SDS! Realistically there’s no time left for thorough appeal process. Everything left so late that contractors have been left with a choice of accept inside IR35 or leave.

No negotiation, everyone deemed to be inside, no SDS feeling vexed due to living in a remote location have to pay for all travel accommodation expenses,. How many permanent members of staff would accept that plus a 360 mile round trip

Although its quite clear we are outside IR35 they refuse to budge and only give the options of Inside or an FTC. Assessments were flawed and without negotiation. Contractors are obviously upset with many considering leaving end of march.

Despite desktop survey and CEST results we have all been deemed inside with possible FTC or Umbrella options available.

Blanket decisions by role, left to last minute so have no choice but to go inside or a few being offered short term FTC at perm + 20% increase
