Unfair blanket assessment, when challenged through faceless 3rd party team delayed to non-existent responses. The team set up to deal with the contesting contractors looks to have gone to ground so no info there. It's an absolute shambles. Oh, and it seems that the pet project of the CTO is now deemed as outside by a flip/flop decision because the project is in danger as many contractors leaving. Looks like the only factor in driving whether or not its an outside IR35 project is the bottom line and whoever at the top is interested in it hitting milestones.

Blanket assessment, no contact with agency to view contract, no contact with department to assess ways of working, no explanation of how the assessment was completed. All contractors working for this "brand" have been deemed inside. Deemed inside by 1) MOO, 2) Control & 3) Substitution Projects will be impacted when contractors leave, we provide a lot of expertise and some projects are due after this current contract ends. I won't be renewing if I'm deemed inside IR35. My own assessment using CEST showed me as outside, other contractors also reached the same result. The atmosphere among the contractors is ... muted, moral is down & motivation has followed suit, personally I'm not surprised by the assessment though I am a little cross it's been left till so close to the deadline to be informed.
