Was told during a meeting that the current stance of engaging only via Umbrella companies will continue. It looks like they have spent a lot of time migrating folks into the PAYE structure and don't want to UNDO + REDO this again. No assessments carried out at all. No SDS. It's an unfortunate thing as the contractors aren't even able to jump ship as there are literally no roles in the market. CORONA has had a devastating impact. Most contractors are disappointed but are just grateful to have a job in these times.
