HMRC tool was used by Orsted. SDS by Orsted shows outside IR35. No impact to projects that I am aware of. Positive atmosphere, as contractors in this department contacted Orsted in 2019 and informed them of the requirements, making sure they were aware of, and brought the contracts inline with HMRC guidelines. Contracts in this department are by project (6-18 months), with potentialy months or years between engagements available to apply of a simular nature. Note other departments are seeing contractors leaving, as they did not prepare or engage, either party, ignoring the issue. Anger by contractors who have been aware and made no plans are showing how lazy some where and still are. I'm feeling nuertal as I suspect in time all contractors will be forced into an inside assesment as its just easier for the company and large companies will jump onboard providing umbrella options. My plans are to close my business in the next 6-12 months as I see no point fighting this, I also plan leaving the sector.
