I have been informed the client won't do any change regarding the latest postpone of IR35 reform and will only issue inside IR35 roles without any assessment.

Individual assessments and in my opinion it was fairly assessed, I might be biased as my assessment is deemed outside, which was in line with when I did my own assessment. CEST was used, SDS was provided, contractors seems to be happy and atmosphere is relaxed as springernature has consulted top notch law firm in the matter. I guess springernature always treated contractors very differently than permanents long before IR35 was enforced on private sector.

The only options were permanent position or PAYE. They are not aware of the massive exodus of people this will trigger and the massive impact on clients.

CEST tool being used, we find out at the end of February what our status determination is. Hinting that they are willing to change working practices to ensure contractors are kept outside IR35. Anecdotal - some contractors might refuse to take the test and just leave as they believe it to be flawed. Concerns raised about retrospective taxation if found inside, HR advice is to get tax investigation insurance. No one seems happy about the rushed implementation causing disruption to the business.
