Contractual adjustments done by HR (violating the law) for a few to keep them outside. This illegal practice will be reported to HMRC. Blanket decision as inside for rest of us when doing the same work so have declined.

Assignment advertised as outside IR35 as project-based, told at interview it was definitely outside IR35, offered assignment and was provided SDS confirming outside IR35. Spent weeks being onboarded, referenced, vetted etc then told day before start date that my IR35 status had to be assessed again via CEST. Then told I was now inside but could appeal to organisation's "tax department" if I wanted to. Told agent I was declining the offer.

Options are to use one of 5 umbrella companies or become an employed consultant through Pontoon.

Ban from October 2020 not even going until end March 2021. Very disappointing

Contract assessed Using IR35 Shield by agent. Deemed outside. Moved on to SoW Deliverable model for last 2 extensions.

No hassle, no drama, no fuss, all outside IR35. Simple process and well done to the agency also.

Pretended they are doing assessments but just found out it is a total blanket ban .Atmosphere is far from ideal now with most contractors certain to leave; just before the year-end period which will really impact Tesco. Frank talks to commence this week; but I will also be leaving should a reasonable medium not be found e.g. higher rate offered.

Ealry indications suggesting outside. Still waiting for a final decision which is being aided by paystream

No longer using Limited Companies /PSC. A small number of some selective contractors maybe offered a perm role, otherwise Umbrella or leave.

Lloyds is pretty conservative and risk averse so unlikely this stance will change.

All Contractors are here for Projects so should be fairly assessed as outside IR35
