Pay me on time , clear payslips, helpful service and pretty competitive charges. Nothing to quibble about.

All employed staff are either WFH or working a rota. However contractors are working full-time in the office environment. Currently we are getting a rolling one month contract. We all went umbrella on March 1st with first payrolls only being run in April so we will be outside any current Furlough schemes. If Lloyds were to reverse their blanket ban then they would be looked on a lot more favourably by those of us still working. Having just received my first PAYE payment, I really don't know how I can afford to continue in this role. Ironically the banks will be desperate for contractors in the coming months as the workloads are increasing at a massive rate.

Confirmed - my housemate is in contract with CYBG (Virgin Money) and they are allowing umbrella reversals in light of the deferral. Clever them. I’m gonna n contract with LBG and they are refusing to engage/re-engage PSC period. When one is except to do more hours for pitiful day rate to cover 2/3 of the perms in the office off work, this is distressing and upsetting beyond measure. This job gets into your head in ways not many others do and NO support is being offered (they’ve told us that that if we need to self-isolate they’ll pay 14 days and cited this as the mitigating reason for not honouring the right of PSCs to determine their own status.

LBG won't reverse blanket ban on PSCs even after IR35 postponement. Expecting official confirmation that it is still Umbrella only. Ironic that the banks charity is Mental Health UK ???????

Seems likely all contractors will be considered to be within IR35 without individual assessment.

HoneServe have refused PSC although they have very high turnover of short term Contractors - they increase Contractors only when their complaint levels increase.

Shame James Hay has placed blanket ban due to IR35. Only offering FTC full PAYE
