Decision made to reassess *all* contracts in the next few weeks, including current ongoing contracts, with as of yet undetermined process. Implied that most contractors are disguised employees despite working on deliverables-based, project fee contracts and most contracts will be terminated. Contractors can apply for fixed term Civil Service contracts at an insulting grade and salary (significantly below what's offered in other government departments, never mind the private sector). Atmosphere atrocious, management extraordinarily patronising and vague on what will happen when and for who.
