So JLR have gone ahead and blanket assessed all PSCs as inside ir35 with their inaccurate SDS assessments.
They have also set up a phoney appeals process where they simply reply *we stand by our assesment* without any evidence or explanation.
Apparently as a contractor I am getting JLR benefits... but no explanation of course..
In previous years all JLR contracts included the right to substitute... in Dec 2020 they removed that right in preparation for their blanket approach.
Interestingly they have had to ajust all their internal contract with TCS from T&M to Service contracts to keep themselves outside ir35... cute.
So.. one rule for themselves and another for PSCs.
All of course to avoid the 13.8% employers NI and the threat from hmrc.
Goodbye JLR...
