JLR blanket assessment, my CEST showed me to be outside IR35, if I make a fuss my contract will not be renewed! No grievence procedure protection. An employee with no protection, not right. I have to pay their employers national insurance contributions, all a play on words, rate is “fully loaded” rubbish. Contractors leaving, I will as soon as I can find alternative work, looking to go back abroad. Terrible atmosphere, expected to do the same job after 6 April for half the money, very demoralising, feeling like I am being held to ransom, I’m a highly skilled worker with 40 years experience being paid peanuts, I shall definitely only work when necessary. I am a very focused person who goes above and beyond, if the project needs completing I work till it’s done, always been my mantra. Employees take the mick they add their sick days to their holiday entitlement and leave on time irrespective of whether the job has been completed. They sit in their phones all day whilst we take up the slack. This is going to destroy industry.
