Blanket ban from a company that has tax advisory dept is a joke

I think Smith & Williamson felt overwhelmed by the challenge of handling the changes compliantly, which would have required them to individually assess every role, so they ended up just copying what many of the banks are doing. I expect (and hope) that this companies will regret these policy decisions when they lose their best independent resources and will re-assess in time.
