From 6th April 2021, Microsoft’s PAYE policy takes affect - All Microsoft contractors must be engaged on a PAYE basis only, directly by each supplier.

Spoken to Curo again, and informed that MS have gone back to original (ie last year before postponement) stance of blanket PSC ban and only PAYE via suppliers. No SDS. Makes a mockery of the MS Partner scheme.

Had a call with my agency this week, PAYE role but they’re making deductions as if they’re operating as an umbrella company, losing £1k per month which they have badged as a company overhead deduction. Whilst I enjoy working at Microsoft my agency is taking the mick with their deductions so won’t be staying.
