Outside IR35 banned
I had an engagement lined up. But the client/agent insisted it could only be through an umbrella foretwo group. I did a credit check on the umbrella and they are listed by experian as Maximum Risk zero credit. Their red did not even know that above 100k tax allowance disappears. The rate was 134k. Hugely disappointing as I wrote them a clear S. O. W. which would guarantee the work was outside ir35.

Permanent roles only
Division: Application Development
All contractors offered perm roles. Half accepted, the other half are not being renewed. Cognizant (outsourcing) has stepped in to fill the gaps.

They are being very uncommunicative and have taken the divide and conquer approach. I am so angry. I have been contracting for 13 years without any problems. I was also contracting in public sector when this happened and there was no change to my status.
