Joined the firm via a Consultancy firm who have a SOW to deliver on regulatory project work. I was told there is a blanket Ban on PSCs and the ban extended to contractors working for consultancy firms. I forced to move onto PAYE by February even though i only joined in Q3 2019 and take a 25-30% pay-cut. Not given the option to contest or challenge blanket ban. Feel Demoralized and heartbroken by this unethical approach. Later i find out HSBC is cherry picking which Project people to apply the blanket ban on PSCs as some are still working via PSCs. No consistency and completely unfair practices within HSBC
