Burns Sheehan

The agent, Burns Sheehan, are requiring contractors to undertake a separate IR35 test through Larson Howie, and are ignoring the SDS from Global. So, whilst Global are doing the right thing, Burns Sheehan aren't. They also suggested that contractors must purchase tax investigation insurance via their preferred partner only. Dodgy agency. Avoid.

Fair IR35 assessments all round! They've set up a team within HR to go through every contract and provide a fair assessment of our roles. Not sure which tool they're using but everyone in our team (10+ contractors, 40+ perm) has been determined outside IR35 for various reasons, and provided with an SDS. Top work!

Global are relatively risk averse, so will likely blanket everyone inside IR35. They are fair, though, so we'll have to wait and see. Will update when I get some more info.
