Fair process.

Currently providing services to a single project with clear deliverable's which the client can't resource from its permanent staff as they don't have the specialist skill set or knowledge required. Client has utilised the CEST tool to individually assess my contract using answers that reflect neither the contract terms or the actual working practices resulting in an inside IR35 decision. While they have not yet confirmed if this is their final position they have advised that there will be no uplift in rates if they decide to only engage contractors via PAYE or Umbrella. The feeling on site is a blanket inside decision will be made resulting in a number of contractors all ready leaving and more going in the next few weeks.
